I don't think so. The manual states various CDs but does not state DVDs. Manual states that only CD formats supported. I have no DVD music so I cannot say if the unit will play them.

No. This is an audio CD player only and does not play DVDs. You will have to purchase a separate DVD player but note that many DVD player also play CDs.
