“Does the shuffle function shuffle between all 6 cds at the same time, or does it only shuffle one cd at a time?”

• The "random" button on the CD changer switches between CD's (usually about a 6 to 10 second pause between selections). It's a nice feature when you like to listen to all styles of music mat once.

• shuffle or random goes through all the discs and sets up a playlist. You can see this when you watch the display: hit "shuffle" or "random" and watch the display cycle quickly though all the tracks of all the discs.
