It would work. I am currently running 7.2 with rears and height atmos

Yes, this 7.2 receiver can support all of your speakers. Onkyo makes, and Best Buy sells a 9.2 receiver also. Just in case you want to add speakers in the future.

I have the same amount of speakers and the same placements. My new Onkyo receiver works great with my surround system.
