A:AnswerI don’t know about Genie but I definitely recommend the Ooma phone system. You can’t beat the price.
If you make out of country calls however it will be an additional cost. I personally like having a landline as I don’t want my cell phone used except for friends and family and certain kind of business transactions only
A:AnswerWe have Spectrum internet -- 500Mbps. We continually experience "robot voice" and choppy communication. I complained to Ooma -- I was told to contact Spectrum. I don't believe that Spectrum will help, since Spectrum offers its own home phone service. I'm planning on dropping Ooma in May when I have to renew. You can't beat Ooma's price for its features; but, the call quality leaves much to be desired, IMHO.
