“What digital audio codecs can be output through the TOSlink optical cable? I'm specifically looking for DTS, LPCM and Dolby Digital 5.1. Also if the HDMI source signal is not one of those, does the project downmix to one of these?”

Thank you for your interest in the UHD38X projector. This projector does not support the codecs you have listed. Your audio will be downmixed. This means that the audio will be converted to a format that your projector can understand.
