Please try again later.I just submitted my review of my OtterBox Defender that I purchased on January 8th for my iPhone 8 Plus and it pulled up your question...I can’t believe nobody answered you yet! I’m so sorry! I have not noticed any such issues with my case although I do know what you mean! I usually have only noticed that issue when I have a regular screen protector on and THEN put a case on top of that. I don’t have any of the film or alligator glass or any other type screen protector on this phone except for what comes with this case. I hope that helps
