Yes it does. There is a flap on the side that you can open to put the pen and charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a snap in holder in the lid of the case, but the pen is not in contact with the iPad while the pen is snapped in the case lid. So it does not charge with the pen in the lid of the case. There is an access door on the main part of the case that lets you stick (magnetically) the pen to the iPad so it will charge. But I don't trust the pen to not fall off during transport. So I always snap it into the lid before taking it somewhere

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a plastic flap door on the right side, you can't close the door while the pencil is in there. It is a nice design and the door closes up nicely when not in use.
