“already have an existing screen protector on the phone. this unit comes with a screen protector. can the screen protector be cut out and still have the protection of the phone? thank you!”

• It will work over top of the screen protector. Suggest leaving the otterbox screen intact because it helps with the water resistance. Plus, if you alter it like that, you'll void the warranty and lose that valuable benefit.
