The item that looks like a screen cover is a hollow plastic ring. It goes over your phone and then the ring and phone snap into the rubberized case. I have hade no luck on this model of phone with screen protectors working. The case and corners overlap the screen to protect it during fall. My case stated we do not include 3rd party screen covers because they do not work on this model.

The 23 series of phones from Samsung seem to have a lesser gorilla glass then previous versions of their phones. The combination of this case and the ZAGG Fusion is of great protection for the 23+.
