• No, the limp, while great, does not have a battery. Thus, the lamp must be plugged in in order to work.

• Thanks for your inquiry. The Enhance lamp does NOT have a built-in battery in order to operate wirelessly. The lamp has built-in LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) and what drives the built-in LEDs to illuminate is the lamp includes a proprietary adapter (cord) that must be plugged into a workable wall outlet in order for lamp to operate.
