“Is this a rechargeable light or does it only work with the AC power cord?”

• The LED light works with AC power cord only. However, the display features are retained if you lose power at your location (e.g. date, day, time. temperature). I experienced this great feature when the power went out for a couple hours. Fortunately, I didn't have to reset this clock.
