This bluetooth tracker has a bluetooth range of up to 500 feet in open area. Once the device goes out of bluetooth range then it will use the Apple network (if you paired with Apple Find My) OR Google network (if you paired with Google Find Hub) to help update the location of the device The update depends on the users that are around your device, so if you are in an airport and there are many users around you have a better chance of getting the updated location of your device.
