QuestionMy TV is mounted- cables are routed through wall behind the TV to a separate location in the room. Is there a way to extend the power cable? I see that it is only 1.5m. Secondly, I assume that the HDMI sync box connects to the LED lights via HDMI cable?

- Answer When it comes to extending the power cable, that is not an option currently. And when it comes to connecting, the lights do not connect to the sync box physically. The lights are connected to the sync box through the bridge wirelessly.

- Answer I used it on my 98' Samsung. You can mount it however fits best for your TV. I have 2 multi color play bars behind my TV as well so it works great.

- Answer The serial number for a Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip is located on the sticker on the back of the small, rectangular power conductor (or "RF-box") that attaches to the light strip's cable.

QuestionI have a bridge and the hue sync app on my Samsung tv. It is able to match the colors of the screen to my ceiling light bulbs without the sync box. Will it also work with the light strip or will I need to buy a sync box?

- Answer If you're using the Hue App through the Samsung TV you do not need the Sync box.

QuestionHow much space is required at a minimum behind a mounted TV to use this? Is there an ideal amount of space above the minimum? I have a slim mount and trying to determine if this will work or if I need to get a new mount first.
