“Does 2nd generation bulbs work in the 3rd generation?”

They will work, but they won't change to all of the colors the 3rd gen bulbs do. They seem to have a hard time with the green family or at least the 3 that i had did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can mix and match as long as you have a gen 3 hub, but some colors just don't work as well on Gen w bulbs as they do in Gen 3. For example Green. Also the speed in which it changes color is a little slower, and don't transition as smoothly.
