“how do you connect these to the home app via ios? I've tried every way & QR code included with the packaging & nothing seems to work. works with the hue bluetooth app but bought them specifically thinking i could use them with apple home.”

You can use them with the home app if you have a designated Apple hub like an Apple TV, iPad, or HomePod.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found it worked much better on my iPhone than my iPad. In Phillips Hue app, hit the "..." and "Add Lights." I had the app search for it. Make sure the light switch is on and it's screwed in. When found, add it to a room. In Phillips Hue app settings, go to Smart Integrations, Voice Assistants. Set up "Siri and Homekit" Go to the Homekit app. You should see the bulb in "Favorite Accessories." Set it up in Homekit.
