• I have 5.0 and didnt have to change it to the 2.4 setting for these. You should have no problems.

• Phillips Hue Devices have a dedicated hub bridge for network connections. The hub uses LAN connection to your router. Any 2.4Ghz or 5.0Ghz connection to the router will have access to the hub.
