“I wanted to know if I can use these lights in a ceiling fan? The ceiling fan suggest max of 40 watts. Would they work?”

• In terms of power draw, and heat generated (this is the Watt rating), the Hue A19 bulbs are 9.5W, well below the 40W. The largest concern will be that they fit the fan's dome or housings well. The A19 is shaped like many "traditional" bulbs most people use in their homes, and thus are generally compatible with any light bulb socket which would fit a "standard" bulb. I have these in many places, including 2 ceiling fans. They work just fine.

• I believe these are 13w bulbs. I have 2 ceiling fans with 4 in them a piece and they have been working with no issues.
