You will nee to download the Hue app to a smart phone or tablet to change the colors. I found it a little cumbersome, but still nice to be able to change colors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can add it to any outlet as long as it is connected to the network router. You can adjust brightness settings and choose any color with the app. The app has more features that I have not tried yet such as time settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need the hub which connects via a wireless network to the bulbs and you can control with an app on your phone/tablet on same wireless network. Then you will be able to change colors you choose. They make starter kits with 3bulbs and the hub.

Please try again later.Screw in the bulb, sync it to the hub/wifi, use the free app (several to choose from) to manually choose the color, or go through pre-set "modes" of color variation. You can make each bulb do different colors, or all the same, or a pre-set sequence of variation.
