You can only add to the base unit. I have added up to 3 extensions to a base unit.

Either connect both controllers to the 120v power source and allow each to power 2m of LED strip, or use 1 of the 2 controllers and attach 4m of led strip to it, or use 1 controller an LED Amplifier and a 24v power supply to drive the 4m combined length. If 2 controllers are used the controllers should be placed at either end of the 4m length and there shouldn't be any electrical connection between the 2m lengths at the mid-point. If 1 controller is used, when it powers on the Philips control will detect that the load could exceed its power supply's capacity and it will re-scale its brightness so that 100% was the most the power supply could deliver. To avoid reducing the brightness use the Philips control as the input to a 5 channel LED amplifier powered from a 75 watt or more 24v UL listed power supply and use the output of the LED amplifier to drive the 4m of LED strip. Of the 3 choices, the best choice may be to use 2 controllers and whatever combination of 120v power adapters and extension cords are required to power both controllers from the one outlet. running all 4m from one control is only OK if reduced brightness is acceptable. Using an LED amplifier is the better choice if something makes getting 120v power to the other end less practical than adding complexity to one end.
