Yes, you can then bridge the cut portions together to form longer runs. Just be sure to use the proper connectors to do so. A simple Google search will show you videos on how to do so.

The downside, however, is that these V3 strips don't have connections on both sides of the cut mark - just one. Meaning: you have to discard the 13" segment between two cut marks in order to reconnect them as an extension somewhere else or to turn a corner with an elbow connector. The V4 strips have connectors on both sides of the cut mark, which is a great improvement, but the aftermarket companies haven't caught up in offering all the same accessories... Still don't understand why hue doesn't offer the connectors themselves, though.
