• Bluetooth version is the newer model and doesn't require the Hue hub to control, though I believe bluetooth control doesn't allow any sort of automation. Both models can be controlled and automated through the Hue hub, however.

• The pins of both versions are much different, one is wider than the other and won't be able to extend each other.

• Non Bluetooth needs a hub... 2nd gen (square) Bluetooth KS functional wifi.
