“I want to use the 2m strip on my desk and the 1m extension by my TV. Am I able to use the 1m extension independently from the 2m base kit? If so, I would assume that I'd need a 2nd adapter and maybe something else. Where can that be purchased?”

• If you want to control them separately, you'd need another base kit. You could remotely wire up the extension in a different location with third party accessories (i.e. from Litcessory), which is what I did for my undercabinet lights, but both segments would be controlled as one unit.
