• Yes. You can shape the light to fit almost any flat surface. No hard / right angles though. The brightness won't be a problem. If you are concerned about the angle...try a light bar.

• It could, yes. I am not sure of your set up, but the light strip would get the best effect if it weren't readily visible. Light output can be strong though.
