You're not supposed to connect strips directly. That would take cutting, just so you know. 6 extensions can be connected to a base strip for a total length of 320 inches. There's no physical limit on how many extensions you can connect but officially, 6 is the supported limit. You can add connectors between the strips to space them out, so you could look at that if you wanted, or just use 2 strips with several extensions each and put them in a scene together using the app.
