• I haven’t tried it, but I’m pretty sure that it would be okay to use outside. You can use the hue striplight that’s made for outdoor.

• This particular strip is just for inside but Philips hue now makes an outside light strip

• No they can’t be used outside. They are only for inside use. They are not weather proof. I mean you could use it. It’s not recommended but they will break or stop working after the weather beats them up. Hue actually has light strips that you can put outside. They are a little more expensive but well worth it if your looking to put them outside.
