Crumbo, thank you for your question. It could handle the resolution if the channel broadcasted in the resolution, so this is future proof once the stations increase their broadcasting resolution. It will only pick up what the station is broadcasting in currently, whether that be 1080p or 4K. I don't think any station does 8K yet. It all depends on the broadcaster!
