“The directions leave a little out. But, did say something about it cleans the "bottom "of the cell phone device. So my question is: Do you put your phone into the device face-up (which the pix seems to look like, but fuzzy pix). Or, does it matter?”

• It cleans the top and bottom at the same time. I put mine in face up but it doesn't matter

• Yes it does cover both the bottom and front of your phone.there is light on both sides.

• It does not matter if your phone is placed face up or face down. There is UV light positioned on the top and bottom of the interior area of the case.

• I don't think it should matter-it has lights on the top and bottom.
