“How do I connect this to cable? I connect the coaxial cable, went to the Antenna input, but all it ask for is to scan for channels. How do I get the TV to go to pick up my Cable modem?”

Coax should be connected to the modem. If using a hardline cable to the TV is sometimes better than wifi. Go to settings and go to network and enter your wifi information. If HDMI is available then connect that to the modem to the tv.
