Yes, depending on your current provider, download there app and sync to your phone. I currently use Xfinity and can control multiple tv’s cross town using the app remote by changing the location in app. I hope this answers your question, Google directions are a bit spotty however I would not recommend a 3rd party app. Direct provider app. The app for this particular also works however to date only with in range to where as the provider app works over wi-fi.
