“Where would the external microphone be installed and can an existing USB port be used for wired carplay? I don't want an extra cable installed.”

• The microphone can be mounted in a location best for your installation. Some can use the top of the steering column while others will put it near the rear view mirror or along the driver side support post.

• My microphone is installed on top of the steering column, works well. Yes it can use an existing USB port.
