They have an IP rating that makes them safe for swimming. However, it might not be a great choice for that. Bluetooth won't work well a couple inches below water. If you are paired with a waterproof smartwatch the sound cuts in and out as you swim. I've tried it, so I know. If you have a phone on the edge of the pool and you stay in range, it's better, but not great still. Also, the water gets in and out of your ear as you swim, so it sounds a bit odd. There is not waterproof seal to your ears, so water gets in between them and your ear. Lastly, the left ear has a touch sensitive button which can get triggered by water, so it may make the volume fluctuate as you swim. I'd say use these in the Jacuzzi or shower, but swimming is less ideal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Sue! No. This headset has an IP57 waterproof rating as an added layer of protection against sweat, rain or splashes but is not intended for constant submersion or underwater use. In fact Bluetooth technology does not transmit underwater, therefore, no Bluetooth headset can be used underwater. Use in the shower or submersion to clean your headphone for less than 30 mins and above 3 feet should be safe. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not waterproof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you cannot swim with them. They are water resistant but not water proof. The Bluetooth signal also wouldn’t work as it cannot travel underwater.
