battery length i charged the earphones until 100% they only lasted 2 1/5 hours. your information indicates the battery life is up to 14 1/5 hours . am i doing something wrong or is 2 1/5 hours of listing time about average and if so why does your add indicate otherwise?

I believe the "14.5 hours" comes in to play when you consider the charging ability of the carrying case. The headphones should last around 4.5 hours, plus you get 2 charges out of the carrying case.... so rounding up (a couple of numbers) gets you to that 14.5 overall.

The BackBeat GO 2 should have about 4.5hrs of listening time on a fully charged battery. It can be a little less than that depending on the phone you are using, how loud the volume is, etc...The 14.5hrs is referring to the hours of use including the extra charges you'll get from the case. 2 1/5 hrs seems a little low so you may want to contact our technical support (http://www.plantronics.com/us/support) for a little more in depth troubleshooting.

The charge on the earbuds only lasts 2-2.5 hours. The included case/charger has a separate battery that will charge the earbuds multiple times. This is how they calculate the increased run time.

Well the 14.5 hours battery life includes the 3 full charges the case provides, with average use you shoud get rougly 4.5 hours with high use about 3 plus your 9 extra hours provided from the case

It states directly on the box that you are able to get 14.5 hours while using the charging wallet. They do only last under their own means for a couple hours.
