Honest truth? don't buy these. I bought them awhile back and hate them. I don't know the answer to your specific question but I can help you by telling you not to get them. The earbuds themselves are so heavy with no support they are constantly falling out. Also, you're lucky if you get more than an hour of use per charge. If you're looking 'wireless' , go with something with either support built in to the earbud or the style that rests on your shoulders.
