I bought these headphones exclusively for mountain biking, the flat wire allowed me to route them through the inside of my bike helmet comfortably. They are lightweight and fit securely in the ears. So far the ear buds have hold in place to the bouncing and active use. The signal is constant, the sound is good and noise cancellation is good too. These have a very nice, soft and durable rubber finish which is forgiving to dirt, dust, as well as moisture. I find very easy to wipe them clean after every use. The downside of these is the battery life. These are advertised to offer up to 14-1/2 hours of listening time when fully charged however, somehow they never last me more than 4 hours of continuous use. I do not bike all day so it does not bother me that much but still feel mislead. If you are looking for a rugged, durable and comfortable headset these may be for you however, make sure to get the charging case too because you will need it. If you need a Bluetooth headphone that rock all day then get the LG - Tone+ Bluetooth Headset, those suckers don’t die.

I've since seen them on sale for much less but I'm not angry. Battery Life is as advertised. I really like to supplemental charger / carry case. Sound is good overall but like most in ear head phones there is thumping during exercise, but I probably do have a harsh stride. No excess thumping on an elliptical. When I purchased - I did not understand how these things stay in your ears, but I like the method. Not quite as comfortable as my Bose in ear but they do stay in and are gloriously cordless! I've uploaded a picture to help you see how these things stay in your ears. A little tricky to pair to multiple devices. Basically you need to repair each time you switch devices. An extra step for sure but easy to manage from the head phones just start with the head phones off and hold down power button until they enter pairing mode.

Works great and connects to my phone instantly

Fast connection (Nexus 5 Phone), Sounds are crystal clear, bass is clean and high, but not as much bass as previous generation. Bought this to replace my first gen back beat Go's, as they had, after 2 years of heavy abuse, finally stopped working properly, only one ear piece only works now. These Back Beat Go 2's are big step up on volume, much louder then pervious gen, and sound is really clean. The first gen had much more bass, in my opinion, but the volume on these make up for it and it still has great bass. My job requires air plugs, and these act the exact same for me as the ear plugs, blocking sounds that are harmful, such as plane engine noises. This is a great plus since I can use it for both that, and listening to music, or answering calls. The sweat proof coating helps with not sliding out of ears when I sweat, 1st gen used to occasionally slide out, losing ear protection and sound quality when I was sweaty. Don't bother with the ear tips that are already on, just go straight for the smaller ones inside the box, it was the same with 1st gen, and the same with these. Only then you can appreciate and hear the nice bass and clean sound. The only reason not to give this a 5 star rating, would be battery life. While for my needs its great, the competitions battery life blows these out the water. But I'd choose these over any other, any day, the small form factor is much better, they're literally just like small ear plugs. Battery lasts 4.5 hours of continuous use, however they last me a full 8 hour work day listening to music on and off, and a TV show here and there. I do however turn them off, for every time I take them out of my ears, which I believe helps make them last long. The good news is, the case it comes with, acts as an extra battery charger. If you do drain the battery, you just have to plug it into the case and you will get a full charge within 20 mins. You can do this twice with the case, so you could actually get a good 14 hours of play with these headsets if you use the case for a brief 15-20 mins. I do wish the case itself was a little better in fully protecting them, but it does the job decently. One complaint I have, is each one may come with an AC adapter or not, some boxes come with it and some come with a USB adapter instead. The USB apdater can be plugged into a computer and has an additional USB port, in order to still be able to use USB with something else while charging. Every package should actually just have an AC adapter instead, but that's what Plantronics chose to do in some boxes. These adapters aren't to be confused with the single USB cable that comes in the box, you are supposed to get the adapter along with the cable. Which leads me up to another complaint, my box didn't have either adapter, and was missing. I didn't bother take it back as there was only 2 left, and there where brought from "the back" of the store, plus I have my ac cable from the 1 gen. So make sure you're getting everything in your box if you decide to purchase one of these bad boys. You will know which one you're supposed to get, as there's a picture underneath the instruction manuals of which you should have, AC adapter or USB adapter, plus cable. The range is also good, I can walk away from my phone almost a good 60ft and still be connected. Controls are simple, Power button, vol up and vol down. Power button Acts as pause and play for music, also use to answer and hang up calls. One slight long press will launch Google now, and a double tap will do a redial. Holding a vol button will skip forward or backwards (+ or -) to next track or previous track, or replay current song. There's also voice alerts, unlike previous gen which was just different beeps, these ones have a woman's voice, notifying you of battery strength and when connected or not. Also vol up and down. Hoping these will last me a good 2 years, just like the 1st gen lasted me.

I bought these to replace my Jaybird Freedoms which I loved. At first the fitment was bad but then I swapped out the buds for bigger ones and now they stay in better. They still fall out, but they're more comfortable. The ear thingies don't work as well as the jaybirds, but they're more comfortable and less intrusive when they're in. I kinda like these better. The carrying case/charger is awesome. It's gotten me charged in a pinch. Which leads me to the the only con: the battery life. I was used to more than 4 hours. Having only 4 is a little annoying. But you just have to adjust things so it doesn't become too annoying. I like this product. there's probably better out there, but this one is pretty awesome.

Pros: Pairs easily with multiple devices. Ear buds have interchangeable rubber inserts in different sizes for comfort. Easy to use, and easy to charge. Cons: Volume is limited. Bass could be better. Battery does not last long. I purchased the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 Bluetooth headphones to use at the gym and while running. I have an iPhone 5 with the bottom headphone port and the headphone cables kept getting tangled. The Plantronics headphones paired easily with my phone and with my iPad Air. I can even switch back and forth between them easily. They are relatively light weight and do not shift around while running. The earbuds adjusted easily to fit. Being cord-free is a huge improvement over traditional headphones. Drawbacks are that the sound quality is not as good (due to Bluetooth compression of files?). The charge only lasts about two hours. The maximum volume on the headphones is kind of low, and the bass could hit harder. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied and they certainly are a good product for the money.

Well bigger isn't always better, but this unit delivered quite nicely. I'm by no means an audiophile, yet these sounded pretty right. They got pretty good range from my phone as I was able to step away from my room to the kitchen, which is about a 15 yard trip. The charging case is quite useful even if it does make the headphones feel a bit cramped when stored in it. The only complaints I had were that they did not seem to last very long on a single charge, and so I felt like I needed to carry a charging cable with me all the time. Also, they feel a bit big and heavy in my ears. I've not had them extensively in my ears for a long time, but they are not super light for in ear monitors. They still however scream great solid build quality, are sweat resistant, and they just plain sound good.

Overall good headphone, very light, comfortable, and decent sound. Setup was easy (bluetooth) and they work good with all the devices I have tried them with. The only gripe I have is battery life, but it is a tradeoff of size vs life. The charge case is a nice bonus, but I still found my self short on battery during the week. A couple of times I turned them on to a "battery level high" announcement only to have them die out toward the end of a workout. Overall I would still recommend

I bought them for a friend. The headphones are as good as my Jaybird Xs, except for the battery life. However, like the Jaybird X, I'd never use them for longer than a couple of hours' workout anyway, as they begin to hurt given prolonged use. This is impossible to avoid since there are batteries in the earpieces which weigh down the ears. The sound is great, they stay in the ear nicely. The case is a really useful and neat addition.

Finally no more cord management plan before running or hitting the gym. The Bluetooth range is incredible. I can leave my phone almost any where in the gym and walk around and never lose contact. The headphones sound as good as any I've ever used. The battery life is only 3-4 hrs continuous, but with the carry case charger, I can use it for a workout, plug it into the case, toss it in my gym bag and it's ready to go next workout. The case will only give you about two charges before it needs charging. The limited battery life is easily tolerable for the freedom of never having your cord snag gym equipment or just irritate you by never staying where you want it. I've only had the set for a month and it gets used 5-7 days a week and so far totally worth the $$. With the Geek Squad black tie coverage, for $25, I am not worried about it being banged around in my gym bag or getting exposed to elements when I'm running or mountain biking. I just can't believe I'm the only one I've seen at the gym with them. Once you go cordless you'll wonder why you waited so long to do it.

Purchased these headphones primarily for mountain bike riding and they work really well. The sound quality is good and the fit is comfortable - they stayed in my ears. Battery life is average at around about 4-5 hours, but the charging case is a genius idea and has come in useful several times. Have not really used them for phone calls, so cannot comment on the mic quality. Overall they were worth the money and I can see getting a lot more use out of them.

These are decent for the price the recharge pouch is a nice little feature when you don't have an outlet, the sweat proof buds made it a buy for me. A bit uncomfortable at first and the battery life seems short. Decent for a busy work environment or working out.

The sound quality is great for in-ear blue tooth, can't compare to over-the-ear ones. Very light weight. The battery life is a bit short if using it during the commute and probably need to charge daily. Sometimes when I put the earphone on with cable behind the neck and wear winter clothes, the jacket/hat/collar would push the cable and let loose the earphone, so I ended up let the cable hanging down my chin.

This is a decent sounding headset, great for the price. If thumping bass is what you are looking for these are not for you. But if you want something good for everyday rock/ pop, these will work just fine. The battery life is good and I found them to be perfect for running and exercising. They are lightweight and easy to use.

I was replacing an old pair of Motorola BT stereo headphones. Looking for a Bluetooth stereo headset that was lighter and less cumbersome, without spending $200. for Beats. I like them enough to not return them. They can fall out, and the stabilizer doesn't seem to help much in any direction. Functions well with Android music player. Receive and send calls work fine. One person couldn't believe that I was using a headset, because it was very clear and loud. Only issue I have talking on the phone is your voice is not put-through to the earpiece. Earbud type headsets block external sound, which is good for music. But talking on the phone is different. Having your own voice muffled in the conversation seems awkward. That could have easily been added in the circuit. For that I deduct one Star. In use (music plus talk) battery drain is at 3.5hrs. The extra charging pouch is only somewhat useful (seeing that you have to stop using the headset for 20 min) to get 1 more hour of use.

Overall great headphones. The bluetooth range was much better than I expected for the price. The battery life is good but not great but plenty to get through a few workouts. And the included case charges them up while stored which is also a great feature. Comfort was okay but only for an hour or two before I had to pull them out. There are three different earbud tip sizes included so it will be different for everyone. They sound pretty good for being so small. I tried the Jaybird BT earbuds, too. They're twice the as expensive as the Backbeat Go's and were not comfortable at all and were quickly returned. For the money, you can't beat the Backbeat Go's.

I use these exclusively for mountain biking and the first couple times out, I got battery warnings (battery is half full, almost dead, etc), on my daily 1.5 hour ride. Since those first couple times, and some cycles on the battery, it seems to have improved and I can complete a ride with no warnings. If I venture our for a couple hours, I do get the half full warning. I use these almost exclusively to listen to podcasts, but have used them for phone calls as well, voice quality is decent considering they're bluetooth. They seal well and block a lot of outside noise and I haven't had any issues with them since they get rather sweaty. They've replaced my Jabra BT3030 for now, but if I had a longer ride planned, I'd take the BT3030 over these.

I use these for running and also as a headset for work. First, when running, I'm happy with these as they have good sound and stay in place. I sweat. A LOT. These headphones stay in place for me and I haven't had any trouble with the headphones breaking due to all the sweat. Also, the battery life is very nice. I've used them for a solid 3 hours of music in my longer runs and the battery indicator still at medium. As a headset for work, the microphone is pretty good. I haven't gotten any complains from my conversations. The earbuds are comfortable and the pack does come with other sizes.

These are amazing headphones, they're very comfortable. They have good sound quality, and have a surprisingly far range of the bluetooth. Draw backs are they can did fast, but with the charging case you can squeeze alittle more out of them. They're also really big; they stick out of your ears, which isn't a huge problem because they sound great and for the price you can't beat it.
