Will this work connecting a Lenovo laptop to a tv? null

It should. I am connecting both a Dell PC and a MacBook Air to an external monitor. Your tv just needs an HDMI slot.

If the Lenovo has a USB-C connection and the TV uses HDMI then yes it should see the TV as a monitor and vice versa. I do not use Lenovo laptops and not sure what TV you are using. TV's are nothing but a large monitor and your laptop supports unless the laptop only supports 4K and the TV does not. That would be the only exception. The cable does support 4K and we use it on the Microsoft Surface systems with no issues.

This cable works for most laptops that support DP Alt Mode and TVs with HDMI input.
