Q: QuestionCan a US traveler use this in Scotland, for hairdryers and laptops? I presume for hairdryers and laptops, one needs to use voltage transformer in addition to plug adapter.... Reading other FAQs....why would this unit sometimes fail after time?

• A:Answer I used a surge protector power strip and ran cpap, fan , phone chargers. It did just fine. There are different amounts of power drawn however among cpap machines depending on if you use the water warmer and so on. So your mileage may vary.
