You should be able to format to fat32 with your pc. It doesn't come formatted, so just make sure you select fat32 when you're formatting it. If you want something for security though, i would hesitate getting a cheap unit like this one. The tesla will be writing and rewriting this thing a lot and this flash drive might not stand up to that kind of punishment.
