No. Run Disk Cleanup and select System Files and get rid of all the old Windows update files.

You use be able to turn off any up dates if you had an older computer but they have a way around that. The reason to force you to buy a new computer this is what happens when we let one company control the operating system. Mfg know this so they are dumping older operating systems on the matket at a discounted price. Buyer beware.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This 32G usb has plenty of space and speed to download most anything. You say your computer is running low on memory. Do you mean low on storage? Do you disk clean, and defragment your computer? Do you have too many downloads in your download folder, or do you need to put some of your stuff (pics, docs etc) in an online storage or on a usb or sd card to make more room in your computer? I notice on my windows 10 computer, after many updates, the disk space gets fuller and fuller. In Disk Cleanup, there is a tab to clean up "system files", there, you can delete old windows installations, which will make more room. If something goes wrong with your computer, there is a system reserve that you can clean it up with, so don't worry too much about doing that.

We purchased the storage device at the recommendation of the Microsoft and Best Buy computer techs. When MS tech was working on the problem, he said that Windows 10 had improperly downloaded to his computer. So, using my computer to temporarily download his data, they removed Windows 10 and reinstalled it. However, they were never able to get Office 365 to download to his computer even with the additional use of the storage device Their reason was inadequate storage.
