I will answer the doubles first. It gives you a choice, and the option to stay that way for the remainder of the transfer. When I view the files that were transferred to the USB on my computer, using the detail view, the files are by date, but if you go to view the icons, they are scrambled. I use albums on my phone to sort the pictures, and when I transfer I also create the same folder. It keeps the process simple and error free. Good luck
