• I ran several test using the dd command on a Fedora system and got a consistent 98 MB/sec. (1024x1024) write speed transferring 128 MB of data.

• I tested this on a core i7, 8GB system with SSD. I got about 25MB/s read and write. Seems about OK for a USB 3 drive,

• I could believe the speedtest that I got from Chkflsh but it came in three times at Write 7.78 MB/s and Read 31.88 MB/s. Maybe this is why Bestbuy had them on sale. Avoid this drive if you want performance.
