Depends on the size of the pictures. If one movie is one gig, I can store 128 of them...

Hard to answer precisely, since the size of a photo file can really vary depending on your camera settings, but let's say a largish, higher resolution photo is going to take up 3 megabytes (3MB). The stick has 16 gigabytes = 16,000 MB divided by 3MB = 5,333 photos. Of course, you don't actually get a full 16GB of storage, because the stick has formatting software that is hardwired onto it, which takes up some space. But I think this is a pretty close estimate.

about 2,400 to 2,600 photos can be stored and I copied photo from pictures of 1920 to 2016 therefore it might of required additional space.

There is no exact answer for this as it all really depends on the size of your pictures. The higher the quality the larger they will be therefore will consume more space.

Depends on the quality of the pic, the more quality in the pic the larger the file. I can get 1500 high quality pics on a 4gb camera card, so that could be your baseline.
