“What color are the plastic parts of this drive? The description says this Flash Drive is BLACK. Yet , the picture shown appears to be a speckled light gray or ivory color. Can anyone verify this?”

The actual casing of the components are in grey and the case that slides to cover the connector is black plastic but its a see through so it might look on some pictures like a dark grey

What appears to be speckled gray is actually a medium gray. The black is shiny black.

The slide-able cover is smoky black/transparent. The body of the drive is actually battleship gray.

Actually the cover is black and the pats that says USB 3.0 is gray.

Main body is grey. The part that slides to protect the USB interface is transparent black.
