Will this work in my Dell Inspiron 1721 laptop? null

I have a Dell Inspiron 15, 3000--and this memory did not work with my lap top. Also, when we first purchased an 8 GB because we read online that it would work for this model--upon opening up the computer it noted that only two 4GB accepted
