• Yes installed on hp notebook running windows 8.1 and had no issues, all worked and has worked now for over a month. Just make sure to check your page file has updated correctly.

• Yes. It is compatible with any PC that needs RAM with that number of pins, that can use that much, and that uses DDR3. A 32 bit system can't use as much memory as a 64 bit system.

• My HP G6 series laptop is running Windows 8.1, but I decided to go ahead and install this ram since it was the most convenient choice for me. So far, I've had no problems and the increase in memory is very noticeable.
