That depends on how many memory slots you have and if they are populated. You can probably add more but, you might need to replace what you have. I would check with the Geek Squad.

Please try again later.That specific model of laptop came with up to 4 GB PC3 10600 1333 MHz memory so this one should be working all ok in it at that lower speed, the only issue is if inside it you have 2x 2GB RAM modules instead of 1x 4GB module, then replacing one of them will only net you 6GB, and to get it to that laptops maximum 8GB you'd have to replace both 2GB modules, and in that case getting a 8GB (2x 4GB) matched dual channel kit might be a better option.

There is even a great step-by-step instructional YouTube video on how to disassemble this computer and put the memory stick in. Highly recommend watching it if you've never taken it apart. It is pretty involved, but fairly easy!
