“Does the Polar Activity Tracker measure activity and steps when located in a pants pocket instead of in a watch display?”

• I don't think so because it senses heat as far as I know - I took it off before bed and it knew that I wasn't wearing in the daily log - so it's got temp sensor or something

• The A300 (along with the other Polar models that track activity) are designed in such a way where step tracking is optimized when the product is worn on the wrist. Wearing it within one's pocket will likely result in readings that would not be consistent with the user. - Mike@PolarUSA
