Q: QuestionDoes this watch track when you are lifting weights?

• A:Answer The A300 does not have the ability to determine if one is doing bicep curls, squats, chest presses...One can however create a 'strength training' profile on the 'Flow' web service that supports the product. Doing so will record the exercise session as such and allow the user to pull reports on heart rate data (if purchased with the chest sensor) as a weight lifting session. - Mike @ Polar USA

Q: Questiondoes it measure activity such as bicycling or aqua aerobics

• A:Answer An activity like cycling, as it has the rider holding onto their handlebars, would require the user to wear the H7 heart rate sensor for it to record any meaningful data. • A:Answer No, I charge mine every 4-5 days. It will let you know when the is about to die. It is wonderful on battery life. Just don't lose the cord!!! Even after the first low battery notice you will have about 12 hours to plug it in before it completely dies.

• A:Answer I don't think so because it senses heat as far as I know - I took it off before bed and it knew that I wasn't wearing in the daily log - so it's got temp sensor or something

• A:Answer There are 2 versions of the A300 that are available to purchase. One is sold with the heart rate sensor and the other does not. If one were to purchase the A300 minus the chest strap initially, they can purchase it as a separate accessory - Mike @ PolarUSA

• A:Answer Yes it does, but please take note: The HEART RATE MONITOR comes and is SOLD SEPARATELY. Once you buy the heart rate monitor your watch will sync with the monitor. It is all bluetooth connected. If you do not have the heart rate monitor then you will not be able to use the heart rate option on your watch.
