“Is it possible to run this woofer in a dual setup: I have an AV receiver plugged into the L/LFE on the woofer but I also have a 2-channel amp with both HT bypass and appropriate RCA pre-outs. However, I don’t see how I can connect both to the woofer.”

Hello, You could potentially have a single LFE cable going from your AV and Amp into a one of the RCA inputs on the subwoofer to have both feeding a signal to the subwoofer at different times. Just be mindful to not operate both the amp and AVR at the same time as this might cause damage to the subwoofer.
