It allows you to talk and listen regular phone calls as well as being able to listen to music and videos. As for being able to use it through a Video Conferencing app, on your cell phone, it is likely that the app supports Bluetooth devices to transmit audio. If you intend to pair the earpiece to a computer, it might not be the best scenario. It really depends on the setup you have. For PC connectivity and web conferencing with a Bluetooth headset, then we recommend you to check out our UC line of products. In this case it would be the Voyager Legend UC, which includes a USB BT300 Adaptor that ensures PC connectivity. Most computers nowadays are equipped with native Bluetooth;yet not all of them support Bluetooth headsets. Bluetooth technology works through different profiles, and these are the ones the earpiece requires to at least allow a connection: Headset/Hands-Free Profile HSP and HFP, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).
