Hi Jess! We would need to verify the exact model of your landline phone to verify compatibility. As you may know, this model is compatible with any cell phone or tablet that supports Bluetooth headsets. Many devices nowadays are equipped with native Bluetooth; However, not all of them support Bluetooth headsets. BT Technology works through different profiles and these are the ones the earpiece requires to at least allow a connection: Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), Headset/Hands-Free Profile HSP and HFP and AVRCP. If you're currently using a regular landline phone, the headset does pair, yet we are unable to guarantee optimal performance in terms of connectivity, range and audio quality. To isolate the cause of the issue, we strongly recommend you to test it with a cell phone and confirm you get the same issue. If that is the case, then please ensure the unit's firmware version is up to date through our Hub Software for Desktop: https://bit.ly/30jDXJM. This might also be related to the smart sensors. They detect the pressure from your ear when wearing the earpiece, but there can be several conditions triggering them like wearing glasses or having the earpiece a bit loose from your ear, consequently sending the call back to the phone instead of staying in the earpiece. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
